Youth Speed Strength Classes

“Speed Strength” Classes help young athletes achieve better body awareness, body control, and running form.  Classes focus on strengthening the key muscles needed for proper running mechanics and speed through a series dynamic, functional movements; drills, and exercises. Key skills learned are: Acceleration, Deceleration, Lateral Movement, and Explosive Power,

Summer 2018 Times: June 12  – August 9  (No Classes Week of July 2) 

Ages 12 and Up:   Tues 8:30 -9:30 AM /  Wed, 4:00 – 5:00 PM / Thurs, 8:30 – 9:30 AM

Ages 6 – 11            Tues 7:30 – 8:30 AM / Wed.5:00 – 6:00 PM / Thurs. 7:30 – 8:30 AM


High Plains Elementary Programs (Grades 1-5)

The FAST Lab comes to High Plains Elementary on Wednesday afternoons! High Plans students in 1st through 5th grades participate in drills and exercises that focus on body awareness and balance & coordination, while also teaching proper run mechanics, and strengthening the key muscles necessary to achieve top speed.  Four sessions are offered throughout the year.   • LOCATION: High Plains Elementary School (for High Plains students only)
  • TIMES: Wednesdays, 2:45 – 3:45 PM
  • Fall 2018 Dates: TBA
  • Grades 1- 5
  • COST: $109 for a 6-Week Session / $75 for a 4-Week Session (10% discount for siblings)
